Tebogo Makgoba

Tebogo Makgoba, born and raised in Pretoria, began his marketing journey at IIE Rosebank College’s Sunnyside Campus while pursuing an IIE Diploma in Commerce in Marketing Management and serving as a brand ambassador. His professional career started at a tech start-up in Sandton, where he advanced from marketing intern to Digital Marketing Specialist, before moving to Droppa to lead digital marketing for over two years, representing the brand at GovTech in 2022. He was later headhunted by international tech giant ASBIS as Digital Marketing Manager for Sub-Saharan Africa, managing campaigns for prestigious brands including Bang & Olufsen and Ferrari, and presenting case studies at global conferences in Dubai and Cyprus. Currently Marketing Strategist at Style ID Africa, Tebogo leads the marketing and innovation department, designing high-impact campaigns with his team. Guided by his belief that “all it takes is one person giving me a chance,” he continues to seize opportunities to excel while empowering others to shine in the industry.
