The Ethics Hotline is used to report unethical behaviour. Through the ethics hotline you will be able to report any activity of which you have a reasonable suspicion that could undermine the safety of the teaching and learning environment or the integrity and reputation of the qualifications. This could then include cheating in assessments or assessment leaks, pressure from anyone to carry out any activity in exchange for a favour including but not limited to succeeding in an assessment or module; sale or trading of illegal substances; intimidation; harassment, dishonesty, theft or fraud.

The South African Qualification Authority is the statutory body responsible for registering qualification and part qualifications as recommended by the relevant Quality Council on the National Qualifications Framework. Recognised international and other qualifications are evaluated for equivalence to South African qualifications by its Directorate: Foreign Qualifications Evaluation and Advisory Services (DFQEAS). SAQA issues a Certificate of Evaluation upon review of such applications.

Applications for The IIE distance qualifications are open and can be made on www.rosebakncollege.co.za. Students registered for The IIE distance qualifications can receive support online/ on campus. However, these sessions are not compulsory.

- Complete a registration contract at Rosebank College:
- Submit your signed contract and all your supporting documents (certified copy of ID and Grade 12 certificate);
- Pay your deposit;
- Once you are accepted by Rosebank College, an sms will be sent to you confirming your registration.

We unfortunately do not offer bursaries. We do however, accept external
bursaries and study loans.
|Online applications and registrations||Where can I find my online reference number?|
A reference number is
sent to your cell phone, when you initially enquire online. Use the same
reference number when applying or registering online. Should you delete the
SMSs sent to you by mistake, click on “forgot password” and your reference
number will be resent to your cell phone. Alternatively contact 0861 256 273

To apply online,
click apply on our website and input the reference number sent to your cell
phone. Click on forgot password to have your reference number resent to you.
Complete all the required fields and click submit.

Visit one of our
campuses or complete your registration online. Should you choose to complete
your registration online, you will need to use the same reference number you
used to apply or enquire to register online.

Application fees can
be paid at ABSA, you will then be required to email (your consultant will give
you the relevant email address) or take your proof of payment to your nearest
campus. Please note cash is not accepted on any of our campuses. The application and registration fee/s is non-refundable.
|Part-time||When are part-time lectures offered ? |
Lectures are usually on
a Saturday. Please ensure that you have checked the campus where your course of choice is offered and that the consultant has confirmed whether Saturday classes will be offered at that campus. Classes may change due to unforeseen circumstances.

hand should you choose to apply/register – certified copy of your ID and
account payer’ ID, certified copy matric results and application fee (non-refundable).
|Studying at Rosebank College||What requirements are needed for international students?|
NB: Admission criteria vary on the type of qualification.
If you are an international student, you must ensure that:
- you have an equivalent qualification to the aforementioned;
- your equivalent qualification is evaluated by the South African Qualifications Authority (SAQA);
- you have a valid study visa from the Department of Home Affairs issued in the name of The Independent Institute of Education (The IIE) that covers the duration of your studies.
- Degree exemption from Universities South Africa, formerly Higher Education South Africa (HESA):
|The Matriculation Board of Universities South Africa regulates admission to bachelor degree studies by requiring all applicants who are completing or have completed their schooling outside of South Africa or through a system other that the South African National Senior Certificate examinations to fulfil the criteria that the Board has set for that system. For international students, the procedure in "The International Student Handbook – Appendix 1" must be followed and for South African students, The IIE "Conditional Admissions Based on not Meeting Entrance Requirements-: South African Students - Application and Monitoring Procedure" must be followed. Universities South Africa issues a certificate of exemption (conditional or complete) to such applicants. Students who have been issued with a degree exemption certificate must still meet any specific/additional admission requirements of The IIE degree programmes in order to qualify for admission.|||

Rosebank College unfortunately does not have accommodation on our campuses, however, we recommend that students may consult South Point accommodation providers. South Point is a national provider of student accommodation. It was established in 2003 to meet the growing need for student accommodation in South Africa.
