What you eat can determine your energy, concentration and alertness levels. We offer some on the go to snacks that you should keep close during exam and study times.

Eggs

Want to make sure that you retain information during your study sessions? Then turn to eggs for help. Easy to prepare and to take on the go – despite their sometimes unpleasant smell - eggs offer the protein and choline needed to help improve your brain function and memory. Eggs are a great source of choline, which is an important nutrient used to produce acetylcholine – a neurotransmitter involved in memory.

Known for preventing the hardening of blood vessels, while improving good cholesterol, avocado is rich in monounsaturated fat – also known as healthy fat. These fleshy green fruit Healthy blood vessels allow for uninterrupted blood flow which reduces your risk of a stroke.

Dark Chocolate

Not all chocolate was created equally. Dark chocolate offers a fantastic free radical fighting ability not present in milky chocolates. Dark chocolate offers high antioxidant content. The higher the cacao/cocoa percentage of your next dark chocolate bar, the more awesome antioxidants you will consume. The tasty dark chocolate could also help you ward off cancer.

Seeds and nuts
