Hard work + positivity = ingredients for success

This May, 75 students graduated from The IIE Rosebank College in Durban at the Greyville Racecourse. Excitement and anticipation filled the air as students arrived at the venue with friends and family, who came along to witness the Class of 2014 graduate. Rosebank College is a brand of the Independent Institute of Education (The IIE).

Nolwazi Chiliza, who graduated with an IIE Diploma in Journalism was over the moon. "I know my mom is happy but for my dad I know he is relieved," Chiliza said. She attributes her success to staying positive.

"From Rosebank College I learnt that you can achieve anything if you remain positive, and that nothing is impossible."

Future plans: For Chiliza the next step is to study further. She wants to complete a degree in communication science.

Marcelle Steele graduated with an IIE Diploma in Information Technology Management. "I feel ready to take on the world," said Steele. He was accompanied by his mother and grandmother. His mother agreed," I feel on top of the world."

Future plans: Marcelle is already working in the sales department at African Bank and is now eyeing the IT Department.

The IIE Rosebank College will be hosting graduation ceremonies at the various campuses this May and June 2015.
